We divide the Central Poland Uplands into the Lesser Poland and Lublin Uplands. The Małopolska Upland - the most varied of all Polish lands - is an independent unit, which they are composed of 4 smaller: Silesian Upland, Kraków-Częstochowa Upland, The Nidziańska Basin and the Kielce-Sandomierska Upland. The Silesian Upland is characterized by clear human activity. Numerous mines, heaps, steel mills, factories, stations, the few railway tracks and smoking chimneys create a landscape that is primarily the work of human labor. The highest hill - Góra Św. Anna - it is 400 m.
